This Privacy Policy describes how Hucksters Inc ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our social media software: and related services (the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Accounts Information

In order to use some of our Service, you need to have an account. When you create an account with us, we may collect personal information, including but not limited to:

  • Your name

  • Email address

  • User ID

  • Profile picture

  • Your date of birth, or your age

If you create an account, you must provide us with some information so that we can provide our services to you. This includes a display name (for example, “Huckster”), a password, and email address. The email is never shown publicly and it is only used internally by us. The display name is always shown publicly.

If you choose to share your street address, phone number and business email with us, all of which will be available publicly, they may help you promote and publicize your events to public.

Preferences

When you set your preferences using your Account Preferences, we collect that information so that we can respect your preferences in our Services on the web and mobile platforms.

User-Generated Content

We collect information that you create or post while using our Services, such as:

  • Events posted, which includes dates, event address and other information about your events such as start and end dates, recurrence intervals and web links

  • Media files (photos, videos, etc.) associated with your events.

  • The GPS location of your events addresses that are obtained so that they can be shown on the map.

  • Interactions with other users such as reports and bookmarks.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about your use of the Services, including:

  • Log data (IP address, device information, browser type)

  • Usage patterns and preferences

  • Analytics and usage data

Location Information

We require your approximate location as our Service relies on spatial filtering of the events based on your location. Although we do not track or record your devices exact location, but your approximate location is collected for the Services to operate.

Log Information

We may receive information when you view content on or otherwise interact with our Services, even if you have not created an account or are signed out. These information includes, but not limited to your device's Internet Protocol address (i.e., IP address), your device’s approximate GPS coordinates, browser type and language, browser version, operating system, the pages of our Services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. We also receive log information when you click on, view, or interact with links on our Services.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Providing and improving our Services: we use the information we collect to improve and personalize our products and Services, including by showing you more relevant content and ads, suggesting people and topics to follow.

  • Personalizing your experience: we may use the information we collect and publicly available information to help train our machine learning or artificial intelligence models for the purposes outlined in this policy.

  • Responding to your inquiries and support requests: we may use the information you provided to assist you with your inquiries and support requests.

  • When you create public event postings: when you create a public event, it will be shared publicly on our Services. It will be available broadly with general public everywhere the Services is available.

  • When you create private event postings: when you create a private event, it will be shared with other users that have followed you (i.e., your friends).

  • To comply with legal obligations: we may have to disclose your information when necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or government request; protect the safety of any person, protect the safety or integrity of our Services, including to help prevent spam, abuse, or malicious actors, and, or illegal contents on our services

  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or change of ownership: we may share, sell, or transfer information about you in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy. This Privacy Policy will apply to your personal information that is shared with (before and after the close of any transaction) or transferred to the new entity.

  • To protect our rights, users, or others

  • Address fraud, security, or technical issues

How Long We Keep Information

We keep different types of information for different periods of time:

  • We keep your profile information for the duration of your account.

  • After deleting your account all the events created by you, and personally identifiable data collected while using our Services will be kept for a period of 12 months.

  • Search engines can index and maintain copies of your publicly posted events even after they are removed from Hucksters. Private events are not publicly visible and thus they are hidden from search engines.

  • Where you violate our Rules and your account is suspended, we may keep the identifiers you used to create the account indefinitely, such as external OAuth providers IDs (e.g., Apple ID or Googl ID), or emails, to prevent repeat offenders from creating accounts again.

  • We may keep certain information longer than our policies specify in order to comply with legal requirements and for safety and security reasons.

Your Choices

You can access, correct, or modify the information you provided to us by editing your profile and adjusting your account preferences.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised.
